I have been in real estate since 8 years old...Let me explain. As a young boy, my dad owned investment properties, and we would travel to our rental homes in different locations to speak with tenants, get houses ready to rent, etc.... This was my first taste of real estate. After graduating from San Jose State University, I jumped right into outside sales where I had the opportunity to learn about the importance of business, relationship building, and communication.
My wife and I decided it was time to move from California in 2003. After extensive research to find a place to start new roots and raise a new family, we decided upon the Raleigh, North Carolina area and settled in Fuquay-Varina, NC. We now enjoy our family as it has grown since the time we moved in 2003. We now have 2 children and our trusty dog. We spend our time together traveling, reading, going to baseball games, going to dance events, and spending time with friends.
I decided to take my business skills in my sales career and followed my passion of real estate. I have been in real estate since 2005 and work with The Rodney Carroll Team at Home Towne Realty. I bring over 12 years of real estate experience helping both buyers and sellers with their real estate needs. I view myself as a real estate consultant looking out for the best interests for my clients. We are able to utilize the technology today to zero in on finding the right home for our clients. We utilize a series of questions to help uncover the needs and wants of our buyers. The clients we work with are able to keep tabs on the real estate market using custom search engines that allow our clients to stay on top of the market, and sometimes learning about properties that hit the market before some agents learn about them.
How does Gus Nystrom and the Rodney Carroll Team help today's sellers to get their home SOLD, not just listed?
We use a two step approach when visiting our sellers. Our first step is to visit with the homeowners and find out more about their housing goals through a series of questions. During our first visit we have the sellers provide us with a tour of their home and point out all the features they like or dislike about their home. We will go back to our office, do a thorough research on the market and in turn share the results with the seller which will help the seller see what the market is saying about their home and educate our sellers on the trends of the market and how that might affect their home. We go through a 10 step marketing plan which covers items from helping the enhancement of the property to helping with the pricing of their home. We show the sellers what to expect along the path from listing of the home to the closing of the home and get them to their next stop on their journey.
